Beaufort County is undergoing a 5-year update of the 2040 Comprehensive Plan. This critical document guides the County’s activities. Since its adoption in 2021, many of the Plan’s recommended action items have been completed. As a part of the 5-year update, the plan’s remaining action items are reassessed and reprioritized for the next five years. To assist in this process, the County wants to hear from you!

The County has opened a Comprehensive Plan Update form to gather input on how to prioritize the Plan’s remaining action items. The form will be open until August 7th. Participants will be able to select which remaining actions are highest priority and provide input on additional action items that should be prioritized.
